Ministries I Peter 4:10-11 Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. ![]() Greeters Ministry Here at Macedonia we are intentional about making everyone who walks through our front doors feel like family. One of the ways that we accomplish this is by our Greeter Ministry, that makes sure you are welcomed with a smile, shown areas vital to your visit with us, and sincerely welcomed with open arms. If you have the gift of a warm smile and you like meeting new people then this ministry is for you. Sister 2 Sister Our Sister 2 Sister program is designed for young girls in our church and in the community from the ages of 8-13 to know and understand that they are talented, special, and gifted. In this program we seek to instill a positive self worth, develop their interpersonal skills, and encourage the ladies to reach for goals that breaks common stereotypes placed on women. Ushers Our Ushers are responsible for making all of our visitors and guests feel welcome as they enter into the house of God. They also help to maintain orderly seating and exiting of the building, as well as making sure the atmosphere has been set for life change to occur in each individual. Audio/Visual Services Making sure the gospel is heard, seen, and understood is the goal of the Audio/Visual ministry. In today's technological society there are many avenues available to encounter God. This ministry makes it their goal whether you are in the building or watching via web or television, that you are able to capture the Gospel of Jesus Christ without interruption or interference in order to come to a decision about following God. Music Ministry The praise that we offer up to God is well pleasing in His sight. The Macedonia Music ministry desires that every person will encounter God as we sing praises and worship our God in Spirit and in Truth. This ministry helps to set the tone for our worship not only on Saturday's but on Wednesday's as well in our prayer service. If God has gifted you with the ability to play or sing then this may be a way for you to use your gift to "HIS" glory. Women's Ministry In this ministry we seek to foster healthy relationships, spiritual growth and development, and a positive environment for women to share. Helping each lady to reach their God give potential is what we strive to do, by the power of the Holy Spirit. However, we do not stop there, our secondary goal is to mentor another woman on her journey towards God and wholeness. Men's Ministry (Joshua's Men) Being a strong man is vital in our society, and here at Macedonia we are serious about every man in our congregation becoming men of integrity and purpose. In the Bible Joshua's men were brave in battle, focused in purpose, and sold out to God. Well, if you become apart of this ministry by God's grace you will be too. We are also intentional about fostering camaraderie among the males of our congregation, so if you want to experience a men's ministry like no other, join. AMACHI Amachi is a Nigerian word that means: "Who knows but what God has brought us through this Child." This is mentoring program targeted at ministering to the children of individuals who are incarcerated. This powerful program helps us to reach beyond our church walls to impact the lives of children who may never see a positive role model except, YOU. Phoebe "I commend unto you Pheobe our sister, which is a servant of the church of which is at Cenchrea: That ye receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she hath been a succourer of many, and of myself also." Romans 16:1-2 (KJV) Single's Ministry (G.O.A.L.) Reaching and empowering Single Adults to create Christ-centered safe places for fellowship nurture and service. Since the time when Adam realized he was without a mate, thereby experiencing loneliness, many persons have found themselves in a similar state. A careful examination of Scripture reveals a deep concern for the "widows and fatherless," individuals who, in their singleness, might be struggling. Not all singles in our society today are struggling-any more than married people struggle-but all these people have special family needs. GOAL aims to help singles in the church become part of the worship service and contribute to a spirit of commitment among members of the church.
